Time Marches On

Leading the parade in the West is Kapolei Chapter, HBDA, with their social at the Makakilo Community Center on Monday, the 9th. NIce place, way up the hill. Good crowd, ono food, naturally and good music. I posted the first blog today in the Kapolei Social Dance blog and will probably post the second blog, with new photos and comments, to Oahu West (and give them some hits.)

"One of the hardest decisions one makes in life,
is choosing to walk away or try a little harder."

Rich has a nice write up in the Town Dancer blog on the latest good dance news in Town. We are getting all the news that is fit to print. And blogs are free, they don't cost money. We just need more Two Centers to share photos and dance news with our reader/dancers.

I have been hearing about Whitmore Village, but I think they prefer to keep it private. Like most things they should do as they please. The commercial watering holes are just a little different. They believe completely in their Web sites but they should also do as they please. Sooner or later we will find a dance group that can use our help. The good results will be there.

Of course, the biggest mess in the West is the Rail Catastrophe and quite a few are becoming aware of the negative aspects of the project. The noise will be terrible even three blocks away. No one knows yet how bad it will be. Hotel action along the way will be halted completely and perhaps some will shut down.
