I am definitely at the point of diminishing returns so the hits will remain pretty much in the same plateau. However the entire enchilada has been set up. The Two Centers and/or the Guest Authors are what will make the difference. The Micros are giving us plenty of connections so that sector is opening up very nicely, specially the West Coast of the US.
"Save The Last Dance For Me" by Michael Buble
On Oahu, I am hoping for more information on Line Dancing but they seem intent on keeping it personal. They should make their own decisions but we are here to help as with any other dance group. And blogging is very definitely "Help."
The routines in line dancing can get complicated and many teachers make the mistake of starting off with intermediate moves, turning a lot of people off. There are small, medium and large in line dancing as in everything else. So what is desperately needed on this coast is the small, (beginners) level of line dance.
The big advantage for men beginners is that they become accustomed to enjoy the type of music that is played in social cultural dance. Second, they become accustomed to the basic movements in dance. The simple step, the quick, quick slow, the rock step and the chasse. All of which are also used in partner dancing and thousands of other dances throughout the world.
One of the most important is the styling. Each person develops their own version of how to move and they will change it around to suit themselves. No clones needed, and each person is respected for doing their own thing. Of course, some of us may step a little too far outta da box, but if we are having fun, that is the name of the game.
But we must be patient. There are many search engines that are becoming aware because of the Micros, which should be just fine with us. Once we get a few dancing groups to post write ups and a few photos, it will get rolling.
