Amazing

With the Rail Catastrophe looming, this section is not doing too bad. We can see disaster all over the place and we know we ain't seen nuttin' yet. The moneyed people have been paid well. Meanwhile, HBDA has established two places where local residents can dance. In Pearlridge and at Aliamanu Intermediate. And the dancers should appreciate it.

"The year's end is neither an end nor a beginning. It is an everyday going on with all the wisdom that experience can teach us."

In spite of the Rail Disaster, I expect the dance membership in West Oahu to double in the next couple years and that means all the way up to Makaha. The Rail Mess is starting to effect the North Shore too. They too, want independence from the Ivory Towers in Honolulu.

In addition to the new dance clubs that will be forming, there may be several Night Clubs catering to dancers. Dancers are not known as drunks and we should all accept it as a good thing. Naturally most people know it and adjustments in cover charges will be made. Plus a new industry may be in the making 100 different non-alcoholic drinks for the dancing public. Not to mention just making a couple of pop machines available. And make ordinary tap water free.

Meanwhile I hear a little about new Peripheral groups on the Waianae Coast such as Line dancers, Argentine Tango Dancers, Salsa and Bachata Dancers, Swing Dancers. And there could be a Latin Dance group to include, in alphabetical order, Cha Cha Cha, Merengue, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Swing and Tango and yes, Waltz.

by staying just where we are.

Strangely enough I still meet members of the Creative Researchers And Producers that attempt to define my job description. Heh Heh.
