Getting There

Moving but it is tough sledding. I have tried and others have tried along with me to get more Information Contributors and Guest Authors for this blog. But most people do not want the commitment. What commitment?

Information Contributors have it the easiest. They can submit one or more photos. They can write one or more paragraphs and email to a Guest Author which will post it in the blog of their choice. And they can do this any time they damn well please, once a week, once a month or even once a year. Shouldn't be anything hard about that. The only commitment is that they must be willing to share this information with their fellow dancers.

Guest Authors have a little more commitment. However once they accept to be Guest Author it is clear sailing. There are no registration fees, there are no annual meetings or dues and there are no monthly meetings or fees. They can blog whenever they damn well please, once a week, once a month or even once a year without saying "boo" to anyone. And their only commitment is with their loyal fans.

For the blogs it is a sure way of increasing the hits which benefit everyone. Therefore I must use what little knowledge I have acquired to pull back a lever or two now and then in handling this blogosphere, With enough information contributors and Guest Authors one of the blogs will get independence from me. They can then make their own rules.

I will not live forever so we must plan ahead and give them to whoever is interested. The best ones will go first, the Junk Blogs are mine and they will just keep rolling along for now. I am learning the most effective methods for the control of the blogs. But I am limited, if I was famous I could run up the hits all by myself.
