Planing from Friday calling the Handi Van. and got most things reasonable enough. The Handi Van was early and I got to Camp 808 a little after 5 pm and a nice group was already there. Said my hellos to the few people I knew and I found a place at an end table and was able to get my container and cup of wine. Got some very good neighbors sitting at the table,
First One: 50th Anniversary Dance.5/11/19.
Got the camera available for few people, bless them, I got help from five or six people and I got almost thirty good photos to share with our fellow dancers. It still holds true, two people in the photo are better than one. You get twice as many people in your photos. I try to get three collages each of six photos in each blog.
Got some opinions from a few and two that had no name and I cannot have anonymous, Those of you that do not wish your name connected to this blog may use a pen name, but you pick it. The thing is you must pick the pen name, I will not discriminate. Gradually everyone will understand I have no censorship on my blogs. You can write whatever you wish, but you must be responsible not me.
Dinner was early about six thirty and the line up was fast and fun. There followed a nice quietness of people enjoying the good food and pleasant exchanges of information and fortunately to the excellent music of Leland. They also had a very nice movie on a nice large screen of the dancers having fun at club socials.
There were Prizes and I got one but I really don't how that is done. Perhaps we can have someone make the explanation. I cannot hear very well so I am lost. Maile got me some of the "same" old delicious food, - best I have had all month. Food leftover was packaged and passed around. Terrific.
To be continued: there is more covering the Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club shindig and I will include it in tomorrow's Dancing Nights blog.
Leland had his usual good music going and a few people were dancing. It was BYOB and dancers drink responsibly. In fact in town, they have developed a reputation for being non drinkers. Actually they just are not drunks. And people had plenty of pupus available with their drinks, Fortunately I took a flask of wine with me.

Thanks for everything that Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club has done for us.
We learned how to dance because of this club. Happy 50th Anniversary.
