COVID 19 - Why the US is in Deep Trouble

This video has an estimate of US COVID19 new case growth (based on a community spreading with projected doubling every 6 days ) that predicts our health system will be completely overwhelmed by early May. By May, if you have a new major medical emergency like a heart attack or other need for emergency medical care, all hospitals could be full of or overflowing with serious new COVID19 cases. You won't be able to admitted or if you do will likely received a lower standard of care, and be at higher risk being exposed to diseases. Critical medical supplies could be out of stock - masks, surgical gowns, PPEs, face shields, medical supplies and medicines, etc.

This severe degradation in the quality of healthcare and the insufficient availability of qualified medical staff due to the overwhelming demand from the COVID19 pandemic, will lead to far higher rates of death. Its an estimate based on the available facts and experiences today, that you can review and understand now, to give you a better idea on what to expect and prepare for, rather finding out too late.

Part of the reason why this is going to happen - the US has delayed and delayed preparing and delivering COVID19 testing kits and ramping up testing much earlier. Now that more testing will finally start, the new case numbers will start to reflect the real number infected people and just how big and bad the problem is and will become... leading to the projections and conclusions this video suggests. The US will be taking emergency actions far later as a result of having late testing results and be caught being reactive instead of proactive.

You can choose now to plan ahead and avoid ( social distancing, self-isolation, avoid group meetings, etc ) risky new situations to your health and not have to get caught at the worst times, just ahead, and need professional healthcare under these projected and worsening conditions.

Feel free to comment and disagree and share your honest thoughts - the sooner the better for us all.
