Dancing in Hawaii

Dancing in Hawaii is doing quite well over all the Islands from what I gather on the Internet. On Oahu, I think it is doing quite well, except that most people in our dance scene do not know what's goin' on. Town Dancer had dropped down to less than 40 legit hits per day, but the scam spam robots hit just about now. I had allowed outside search engines and they have come in and my stats are very hard to explain, even to myself.

Blogging Hawaii and Platinum Horseshoe were heading towards the upper 20 average hits per day even though both are SOS. The one that gets the steady Two Center and/or Guest Author will be the one to overtake Town Dancer and be on the road to independence. They are both leaning heavily into American Style of dancing and fortunately we have some of the best American Style dance teachers in the Pacific.

Town dancers seem to be doing all right. Everyone has equal rights on the dance floor, superior dancing skills, imagined or real are no reason to preempt other dancers. Dancing is not only for the enjoyment of both partners, but for all dancers.

Men, because they lead, are learning the art of floor craft and make every effort to avoid collisions with other dancers. No one wants to bump into someone else, but when it does occur, there is a no fault rule. This means that both parties should smile, say pardon me or excuse me and go on their merry way.

However, if this occurs very often to you, then the fault is obvious and we need not pursue it here any further.

The new night clubs in the outskirts will be leaning heavily into the American Style of dance too. We urgently need those people willing to share info and photos with their fellow dancers. They are the ones that will define the blogs. I must be patient. Meanwhile, Moanalua Corridor will be restructured due to the Rail Catastrophe, it had dropped down to 15 average hits per day but now increasing with the scam spam robot hits.

Pub's Side Note: Three of the most powerful tools for marketing a dance organization's services and products is through their Newsletters, Web and Blog sites. The benefits are many and it is the least expensive PR. They keep the organization's Name out in front of potential and current members, the media and Ballroom Dance Professionals.
