Showing Flickers

Rumba of course has had its difficulties in the basic from the very beginning. In East Honolulul it is no different than anywhere else on Oahu. The slow, quick, quick, square step that Arthur Murray introduce as Rumba is not quite the most natural Latin style. Then when Arthur Murray sued Fred Astaire for using the same basic in his studios, there was hell to pay. He won and Fred Astaire being a dancer changed his basic to quick, quick, slow. The difference remains to this day.

There is a marked difference in the International style as well, with a rock step as the quick, quick, which may be more natural Caribbean, followed by a slow. The Cha Cha Cha, has the slow replaced with a Chassé. The dancers is East Honolulu will help to establish a more compatible basic Rumba pattern that can be easily accepted by both men and women in all categories. And it will be a completely social Rumba.

The Platinum Horseshoe blog seems to be emerging in second place behind Town Dancer blog. Blogging Hawaii and Dancing Nights will be going for third place. The rest are also rans for the moment. As per usual the Two Centers and eventually the Guest Authors will make the difference. And each blog will develop different information and of course a different audience.

I have been getting some club information for the blogs but not enough. The few information contributors that we have do very well but we need more. The total average pageviews per day of all nine blogs is increasing all the time. Slowly but surely, which is the best way. But showing signs of the law of diminishing returns. It is about as far as I can go by myself.
