Oahu Night Clubbing

Night clubbing is an integral part of Oahu night life. an irreplaceable segment of the entertainment industry. But why did it become such a popular sector and what is it in the nightclubs in Honolulu that draws so many people? It is interesting to understand why do the same night clubs regularly attract the same people for what is essentially the same experience. We may eventually discover why people go to nightclubs – from a social dancer's perspective.

"Most social dancers try to use a proper dance frame and they have
good examples all around them on the dance floor."

Night Clubs in Honolulu do not do any high class deluxe dancing. Most have very small dance floors and it can get overly crowed at times. DJ music is usually for the younger crowd and the DJs on Oahu have all the latest smash hits to share. Live music is much more preferred by the more experienced dancers because they love the "oldies but goodies" those classics that have been preferred by millions world wide. One of my favorites, I have never heard it by a DJ. From Here To Eternity by Englebert Humperdinck - to dance a Rumba to it. Wow.

The night clubs do a good job to hire the best they can get for staff, not just anybody. They want to keep their customers happy and reduce losses so they invest in their staff. They insist on a high level of competency and train them so they know exactly what is expected of them. One seemingly minor error or badly handled situation could potentially escalate into the club into getting a bad reputation. Poor quality sound and the wrong people using it will ruin all the hard work that has been put in and people will not come back in the future.
