The last of the big ballrooms

The largest Ballroom in the Bay Area, Emeryville, California for over 25 years of dancing fun.

A Non-Profit Organization

A member-based club, Allegro Ballroom is organized as a non-profit, public-benefit educational corporation registered as Allegro Dancers, Inc. Their successful operation since 1994, is largely due to the dedication and support of approximately 100 "regular" Allegro members who staff the front desk, volunteer as DJs for their parties, pitch in to organize special events, and serve on an elected Board of Directors. Allegro thrives on the creative energy that comes from the members' shared interest in dance and the spirit of volunteerism.

And with some of the most beautiful dance posters that go out regularly, they are well
known throughout the West Coast of the US. Membership Fee is only $150.00.

"People may be more mindful of possible disadvantages than of benefits of blogging. I will continue in my efforts to helping our fellow dancers and if no can, that is OK with me.
I have too many things to do and I am running out of time."

From the Rubaiyat by Omar Khayyam about 1000 years ago.

"The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on. Nor all your piety or wit,
shall lure it back to cancel half a line, nor all your tears wash out a word of it."
