"When a person who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he or she
will either quit being mistaken, or cease to be honest."
No more American for Calvin, but thinks Town Dancer should have varied viewpoints. Well, it is turning out to be that but only because we could not get anyone from the International in this blog. It is good that he knows he can do as he pleases and being the main blogger, he is helping to establish the definition of this blog. Others have the choice of their own or an opportunity to join with the readers of International.
This blog is way ahead of all the others in hits. So already it is the one most indicated for independence. From whom? From the original creator. C'est Moi. Once you get rid of that person, the blog is an independent entity and can be perpetual. And together the Guest Authors and the new Administrators (at least two) will make the rules for all the future Guest Authors. Hopefully those rules will be minimal.

With the transition, I don’t have to spend nearly as much time to publish content when I don’t have to write all of it myself. And in our case, it is more than just being convenient. It can also provide our reader/dancers with a fresh and interesting view on a topic, or even provide some expertise that I don’t have by myself. The very fact that it is a different opinion will show in the hits and eventually they will have their own readers.
Of course, there is synergism. If Calvin and Richard and I have our own separate blogs, I believe Richard and I would have around 30 average hits per day. Calvin would average at least 40 hits per day. But the Town Dancer blog generates over 150 average hits per day. That is synergism and when we get more Guest Authors the hits will go through the roof. Each Guest Author could generate over 50 average hits per day.

There is another option. One that is even better yet. Someone from that section of this island could get on a territorial blog like Central Valley and watch the hits go through the ceiling, then perhaps invite others and then let it evolve it into independence. The viewpoints from different parts of the island would be crucial.
I have tried, for this first quarter, in HBDA and they seem to feel they are contributing too much in sharing with readers that may not be HBDA. So HBDA will be on hold for maybe six months. I must be on my way and find those that are willing to share and I will begin working on Dance Hawaii and see if I can get nice one there. Most readers do not yet know what a blog is but they can do an awful lot for their clubs, their friends and their fellow dancers. The readership is there and we must be patient.
