The Weekend

Very busy for most of us, the West dancers will be attending HBDA Ohana on Friday evening at the Palladium. I wont be going because I have other things to do. They may get a good crowd. Then on Saturday many of us will be going to the dance by Dance Hawaii at the Aliamanu Intermediate, should be a humdinger. I expect to go to that one, get some photos and make the write up. Rest on Sunday, and get ready to party on Monday.

For most of us it will be the big bang up affair in Kapolei.  We are always overdue to have something at that place. And the way the Rail Goof Up has been messing things up, it is not going to get better. But we can have a little enjoyment in our lives with the social by Kapolei Chapter HBDA on Monday night. For those that live on the Waianae Coast, it is relatively close by. See you all there.

Hopefully I can get some help on this blog or I could make a follow up with another blog. In dance blogging we operate on quite different principles than what you are accustomed to seeing in anything else. What ever information, photos or suggestion you wish to share should be what you want and it should not be taking anything away from you.

By the same token, whatever we give the reader/dancers in information, photos or suggestions does not take anything away from us, we just share. The reader/dancers are happy, the people that provide the info and/or photos are happy, the blog is happy because the hits are going through the roof. That is social media and it will take a while for all to understand.

Pub's Side Note: I keep hearing some possible good news,  a New Latin Night Club featuring real Latin Music to go with your Latin dancing. For the mature Latin dancer, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Vals and a litte Salsa and a little Jive to spice it up. Perhaps in Waipio away from the Rail Fiasco, it would be smash hit.
