Most of us believe that education should be furnished free to all the citizens of this country. The republicans think everyone should pay through the nose. This country was set up for "We the people." not for "we the billionaires." Our government could make sure that the citizens have access to things like good transportation, safe neighborhoods, healthy food, quality health care services, etc that are required for them to be fully functioning citizens in our society. Medical Care for all? Of course. Democratic Socialism.
If we did that, and make sure that the ones on the bottom have enough for their basic needs, they will not invest but spend the money on their needs. We would have a stronger workforce and a more entrepreneurial and innovative society that would drive wealth creation in the US that will “trickle up” to the wealthiest people in the US. The American dream has always been about opportunity. You can start out with little and through hard work and a good body and mind, you can make good, lead yourself and your family to a better life.
Meanwhile back at ranch, we are thinking that a social dance is any dance that is done purely for pleasure, with other people, as opposed for performance or competition purposes. Social ballroom It doesn't look as good as performance or competition dancing, but the focus is on the people actually dancing, and not impressing judges. Could be that they are the real dancers because the dance is more important than the music. Where as with us dreamers, we just love moving to our favorite music.
