The Information Contributors.

It is now evident that with the average hits per day slowing down we need more Information Contributors. We know so many people that have something to say and are willing to share it with our fellow dancers. That's it. All of us believe that knowledge should be shared, especially with whomever can gain from it without learning the hard way, as we so often do. You can see it in many Micros, - Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook. Groups of people trying to communicate with each other and they do very well indeed.

"Social dancers believe that in the unlikely story that is dancing on Oahu,
there has never been anything false about hope."

My five blogs are running mainly on what is referred to in Blogging as SOS. (same old shit.) And when I have said blue on Monday, and blue on Wednesday, we all know. And on Friday someone writes in and says "Green," - now that is not SOS. No matter what color you choose. The readers are happier and I am sure that there are plenty of other reasons for the interest in the new information. It also lightens up my own contribution load. The problem with being a small timer who blogs is that I am often focused on other aspects of staying alive and don't have a ton of time to write content for my blogs. This helps out.

"The Molokai Waltz" by Amy Hanaialii

So I can either publish, say, one post a week, or have such an erratic publishing schedule that people don't know when to expect new content from my blogs. We are lucky to have a smaller audience than the Micros, that have audiences in the millions, in the entire US. Canada, Latin America, etc. Is there a benefit to publishing for the dancers on Oahu? Of course there is! These are our people and there over 40000 dancers on this Island. I'm a big fan of having other people's opinions contributed as content to my blogs, and perhaps we can see my best blog become independent. Maybe this year.

"Social dancers believe that hope has always been a renewable option: If you run
out of it at the end of the day, you get to start over in the morning."
