Beaches

The Waianae Coast on Oahu has some of the most beautiful sunny white sand beaches in Hawaii. But the area has been relegated to last place by Honolulu since they took over 2 centuries ago. Any new building for the residents is usually canceled by the Ivory Towers in town.

"The truth shall set you free, but first it's gonna piss you off."

Frank Fasi had some good ideas on public transportation and in his time, public transportation on Oahu was considered one of the best in the nation. We have come a long ways down from that time. And with the 7 Billion dollar Rail Catastrophe it is going to get worse. And yet most people have been conned into accepting that traffic is going to get worse, not better.

The beautiful Articulated Bus. The #93 can, on week days, get you
Makaha to downtown Honolulu in an hour and a half. You ain't
gonna beat that on the Rail Disaster in a million years. And I
coulda got it right around the corner.

The small industrial park is just coming into full view for the residents and the Present Rail Party has tried to stop anything like that. Lualualei had to go through of lot of hassle before it was ok'd. There will be others in Waianae, and Kapolei.

The beautiful Industrial Park. The residents will worship the
very ground because it is desperately needed by them, not
by the Ivory Towers in Honolulu.

Thousands of automobiles missing from the freeways to and from Honolulu. Thousands of cars missing from downtown Honolulu traffic. The residents in these areas can be home in 20 minutes. And not everyone knows that minimum wage in any of these areas is worth ten times what it is worth in Honolulu. And they can have a little more time to spend with their families instead of commuting.

The Waianae Coast is home to some of Oahu’s best beaches including: Makaha Beach. Yokohama Bay, Pokai Bay Beach Park and Makua Beach. Makaha Beach is home to big wave surfing and In February is the location for the Old-timers Long board Surf Championship. More residents should have the time to enjoy these things.
