Plodding

We are still plodding along waiting for that valuable Two Center. We are fortunate that we do have some and they are very most important to our blogs. And they know that they have the option of becoming Guest Authors and can pick the blog of their choice. So many good dance organizations in the Moanalua Corridor.

You got two months
For now, the Two Centers do not have a commitment to any blog and will write when they feel like it and submit it to whatever blog they like. This gives them a lot of freedom if they do not have the time to learn the blog set up, the handling of graphics etc.

They know that part can be taken care of nicely by someone else. The content of the writing is of the greatest importance and we should all realize it. That is what we have to disburse to our reader/dancers. The rest is gingerbread.

Some still think in terms of a blog as being "instead of," - sort of a competition game. We are establishing the "in addition to" thinking which is much different. The blogs are gradually defining themselves as territorial blogs. What about Dance Waimanalo - in last place. There was a good one in Kauai that went under and they "coulda been a contendah." Very well put together. I don't know what happened.

To be viable, a Web or Blog site should have a double digit average per day hits. Most are in single digits per day, or don't have a counter and they do the best they can.
