Blogging Evolving

When we talk of early methods of information distribution, we have of course printing which has been in existence for over 600 years. Then the advent of radio news, followed shortly by television.

Early blogs as the last century was ending were simply manually updated components of common Web sites. However, the evolution of tools to facilitate the production and maintenance of Web articles posted in reverse chronological order made the publishing process feasible to a much larger, less technical, population.

"A Guy Is A Guy" by Doris Day

Ultimately, this has resulted in the distinct class of online publishing that produces the blogs we recognize today. And from there, we, on these Islands are creating the Dance Blog and it is still in process. The coming Two Centers and Guest Authors will be the ones to define it much better.

"Half As Much" by Rosemary Clooney

We invite Two Centers and Guest Authors for this new Town Dancer blog with a goal of getting enough people and hits to get it into an independent blog. Our present Guest Authors blog about once per month. On the road to perfection would be an entry from someone posting two or three times per month. The maximum efficiency will be the separate and unique viewpoints expressed by each. With the Guest Authors each having their own blog within the blog and contributing to the synergism for the good of all.

"Through these blogs read the most informed dancers in the Pacific."
