Social Dancing

There is very little Studio action in East Honolulu, or at least we don't hear much about it in the blogs. There may be a few people that know about them but no one broadcasts it. Advertising is one thing and very little attention is paid to that but ordinary news about a studio and its clients is very palatable by the reader/dancers of the blogs, not just this one.

"Respect is earned, Honesty is appreciated, Love is gained
and Loyalty is returned."

The Salsa, Hip Hop, Bee Bop Dancers are sure to be there, mainly because they are young and in changeable habits. What they will be dancing tomorrow is not what they were dancing yesterday. However most go to downtown Honolulu. Some of their fads last decades and some only a few years. Fortunately many in their thirties are phasing over to social partner dancing. Solid.

The problem remains, to find a place to dance. The Honolulu viewpoint is to go to Honolulu, naturally. They want to make the bucks. So it is very difficult to find a nice place to dance close by where the resident live and where it will not cost an arm and a leg. A nice place from Hawaii Kai to Enchanted Lake would be nice and avoid that Honolulu traffic which is going to get worse with the coming Rail Fiasco.

Fortunately, Dance Hawaii has found a place - Classes every Friday night. the Community Room at Koko Head Recreation Center in Hawaii Kai. Let's get the place crowded.

Pub's Side Note:
Member satisfaction does not have to be a goal.
It's the by product of a well run dance club.
