Beginning

This blog has now gone solid into double digits average per day hits. Needs dancers and Two Centers to be viable and get into the 20 hits per day. The most needed item of course is a place to dance. A district park or a community center. Yes, I kown the money has to go for the Rail Catastrophe.

do something about its width and depth."


Anyway here are some notations for the young "street dancers." I believe it is referred to as "Popcorn." All basic moves that were known a thousand years ago. Two Thousand? Well, anyway they are nothing new. But this is nowhere near exhibition or competition level dancing or the high class Rootzi Tootzi stuff in the Night Clubs.

Start with the feet together to some music that you like. And it is much easier with music that you like. Bend the knees softly and bounce up and down according to how you feel comfortable with the rhythm. Allow the arms to swing loosely and relax the shoulders, and gradually let the body turn left or right according to the bounce in your knees. If you can do that a few times during the evening and enjoy it you will be "dancing" and ready to go to the next level. The moving of the feet.
