"You can't reach for anything new if your hands
are still full of yesterday's junk."

Major market shifts, when limited by ingrained attitudes, are generational. It takes the replacement of one generation by the next for a market to complete such a transition. Even after Linux comes to dominate in new installations, there will naturally be Windows holdouts for many years, in both homes and organizations. Even though it is quite evident that the users are secondary for Microsoft. First is the money they can distort out from the public.
This diehard tenacity is not an unexpected sign of strength, but it will be interpreted as such by a certain class of industry analysts for many years. I tried it for a couple years but at the time they still had too much code for the average user accustomed to GUI. If you are under fifty, this is for you. Linux is the operating system of the future.
And I understand that in our dancing world there are not too many that are computer literate. Some do very well with what they do know which of course means they will learn and do more in the future. In our blogs we ask you to learn the use of the links in the side bars and you can use them as much as you damn well please.

Pub's Side Note: Sorry folks but I had to shut down Town Dancer blog again. The Scam Spam Robots are getting in again. Blogger just doesn't have the programmers with the capability to stop them.
