Town Dancer Will Be Rolling

OK, I am rebuilding what I tore down. Those scam spam robot hits were just too much. So I will keep the spare blog if it happens to one of our tried and true blogs. Once they screw up the stats, it is no use. I want to know the legitimate data not crap.

"Progress is impossible without change, and those that cannot change their minds cannot change anything."

The entire Town action seems to be be gearing up for the holiday season which is only to be expected. Richard is picking up on some of this action already and posted in the back up blog. Calvin and Debra will participate in the Oahu Ball Competitiions on the Big Island and we can all hope he sends back some of his usual great stuff. And run up the hits through the roof.

On Oahu, most dancers learn steps, in street dancing, social dance clubs, night clubs and official dance studios, it is the same progression. Then they learn more steps, then they learn even more steps. This can go on for quite some time. Then one day, they begin to realize that they’ve got rhythm and don't really need that many steps.

They've learned the rhythm of the different dances and they have learned to dance. They also learn that each dance has over six hundred documented steps or patterns. Of course there are a few teachers will make you listen to the music first, then teach the rhythm and then only after, begin to teach the steps. But that is too much like street dancing. There are social dancers and then there are the "real" dancers that can dance very nicely without music.

Pub's Side Note: Dance Clubs and other Dance Organizations are already coming to terms with the need to integrate their social media efforts with their content strategy, and are seeing the impact of social media in terms of lead generation, referral traffic, and membership.
