Dancing on Oahu.

The entire enchilada Makaha to Makapuu Point and from Turtle Bay to Kapolei is developing into the 21st century Oahu. So we have to do something to facilitate the sharing of dance information for our Island. It does not have to be the same, we are not clones, we have our own individual honest opinions. And that is the end in itself, we can accept another group easily, even if they don't dance our way. And it is developing that everyone in Hawaii is accepting the findings that "social dancers" are gradually asserting their rights. They will develop public (not private) social clubs for our kind of cultural dancing. The new nightclubs in the West will be the ones to set the precedent

"Social dancers have so many good suggestions that share the same spirit
with a little difference. But that doesn't mean that one is "better"
than the other. Find the one which speaks to you."

A cover charge, fine, but the drinks should not carry the overhead. And since dancers, (any kine,) will get thirsty, then there will be an assortment of juices to choose from. The Pau Hana dance will develop.  Like a Happy Hour but much less alcohol and more dancing, eating and socializing. We have the counters and that helps. We already have some of the best musicians on this Island living in the West. And we are developing the right DJs, for our kind of dance. Then because the quality of Latin Dance music is lacking, there may be a Latin Dance Palace in the future and in the West if the rail doesn't keep screwing it up. But we all know, it's the money, Sonny.

I have my own parameters for my blogs. Some people have shown that these blogs are not for them and are more inclined to go for Twitter or Facebook. They should have the privilege, is it all right to ignore them? I believe that they have a right to their opinions, shouldn't I have a right to mine? There are so many places on the Mainland now that have full featured juice bars. Dancers just naturally get thirsty, but in a Nightclub on Oahu, they insist you drink alcohol. What you may want is of no interest to them. It's the bread, Fred. And only from Alcoholic drinking. Auwe! We are coming around. This is social dancing.

“If people refuse to look at you in a new light and they can only see you for
what you were, only see you for the mistakes you've made, if they don't
realize that you are not your mistakes, then they have to go.”
