Is there a Night Club Scene?

Sad news but Town Dancer is now in second place in average hits per day and it has been dethroned by another blog on this Island and it stands to reason why. So many of their readers are night club social dancers and interested more in the social aspects of the social scene, not the latest fancy steps. Night club dancer floors that have room for a comparative small number of dancers and are not exactly the place to dance Quick Step. I have never, ever seen Paso Doble on a club dance floor, nor a Viennese Waltz.

"Some social dancers in night clubs are strictly street dancers, but they can rip up a dance floor."

Club people are not fooling around, they come to dance their dances, so this is all coming out very naturally. No hu hu, just so we all know where we stand and kokua with one another.  Meanwhile we have to polish our own social Dancing to include the Waltz. The Waltz? Yes the Waltz, and the Foxtrot. There will be new beautiful music for these dances for the rest of the century. The Rumba and the Cha Cha Cha, also go together like coffee and cake and it is still considered by some to be the best music ever written.

Wahiawa will be jumping that night.
Then we will probably inherit a new Brazilian Samba which will have more basic steps using the same chasse. And I personally miss the Bossanova. The Swing, which will probably include the West Coast Swing since it is still gaining in popularity. The Tango, is pending and it is just a matter of which other one or perhaps the fusion of American and Argentine and/or Filipino to make a Hawaian Tango. How about that?
