Let's Blog It.

This is blog is now definitely second, in average hits per day. Understandable because of the competition. But I am beginning to know my business, we need feedback to share with our reader/dancers and get more readers. Of course all the blogs need polish and they are a work in progress. I would like to set up a photo album and some video. I have made dance posters with professional dancers and I am going to get photos of our good people and replace them in all the posters. Dance teachers, studio owners and dancers can use the blogs to recruit new dancers.

"My favorite dance is the Fox Trot. It is a proper dance
with proper music and it has class." ~ Laslo

We’d also be happy to have Information and Photo Contributors and which many will find it easier to do. We ask the dance community to share news on our friends, the individual dancers and their accomplishments. You can even send in items about local issues that aren’t directly related to dance, including things like law changes and other stories that relate to kids and families. It’s your blog, so you get to send in what you want. You don’t need any experience to get started, and it won’t cost you a thing, except a few moments of your time.

"Dancing in the Streets" by Nohelani Cipriano

With the increased interest in Latin music and dance, a blog may eventually emerge concentrating on the Latin sound and help to develop a mature group into the dances we have been dancing. We can help straighten out any the defects that may have been installed for decades.  Samba with five different basics? Unbelievable, but it is there. Bossa Nova, the music and dance overlooked by whom? We are learning, this week end alone, there is no way that anyone could go to a 100th of what is offered on this island. Most dancing is on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Some places have Monday nights. The dancers have plenty of places available to dance this coming weekend.

"Social dancers know that we build too many walls - and not enough bridges."
