The entire enchilada Oahu is defining itself very nicely. Most of the people that lived in the West, only slept there for most of the last century. They did everything else in downtown Honolulu. Now, many Live, Work and Play in their own kulianas and it gets better everyday. They can buy most of their goods, go there for restaurants and other entertainment such as dancing. Food for thought, or maybe my stats are all wrong. But some people are going to make these facts work in their favor. And people in dancing are some of them. "I coulda been home in twenty minutes."
I now have these blog notices on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest and Tumblr. I can see that I am drumming up people interested in social dancing. Perhaps some of them interested in dancing will follow some of these blogs. Some micros, I have under a pen name and I cannot see a pro or con for the action. They may think it is all flagrant advertising, (which it is.) But I do not do it in excess. I do see two big night clubs, one on the Waianae Coast and one on the North Shore. This Year?
I hope all the readers can see that this blog is a chronological log of dancing on this island . Because blogs are easy to update and a great reference of what we, the dancers, have accomplished I tend to keep up with it a lot more than I did before. Of course I need help. A blog may reflect the personality of the Blogger but this one is mostly a great way to get the people who share the same interest more united. And the greatest contribution is the diversified opinions of our fellow dancers.
"Social dancers believe that challenges don’t destroy us, they just
make us dance more softly and more passionately."
