Communication Is Fine

An implied duty for social media such as a blog means communication to the reader/dancers of anything pertaining to dance that might be of interest to them. The price of eggs in Denmark may be included but it is not considered pertinent. And yet the blog must remain social media.

"When you shoot an arrow of truth, dip its point in honey."

Our first and foremost form of communication rapidly becomes advertising which is acceptable in our blogging. It may be used for marketing and to encourage, persuade, or manipulate our reader/dancers and sometime a specific group to continue or take some new action.

For blogs, sometimes, the desired result is to drive consumer behavior with respect to a commercial offering, witness the large amount of emails on trips to Alaska, Israel, China or Europe. They are willing to advertise and even to spam. But they will never share with the reader/dancers of the blogs any of the experiences or photos of the happenings. Those are reserved for their people.

"All In My Mind" by Maxine Brown

It becomes very plain for the reader/dancers of social media, although also common in political and ideological advertising. In Latin, ad vertere means "to turn the mind toward." Advertising messages are usually paid for by sponsors and viewed via various traditional media; including mass media such as newspaper, magazines, television commercials, radio advertisements, outdoor advertising or direct mail. But blogs are social media and not known for being paid.

The best example on these islands is Calvin Ota aka Mr Blogger. Very little of the communication but it is a must. But then comes the spectacular results of what happened at the ball with photos and all. This is sharing with the reader/dancers of all the blogs and these blogs are even read throughout the Pacific Basin. That's blogging and that is Social Media. Anybody want to kid me about "hits?"

Non-commercial advertisers may spend time to advertise items other than a consumer product or service include political parties, religious organizations, dance social clubs, night clubs and governmental agencies. Nonprofit organizations may rely on free modes of persuasion, such as a public service announcement in blogs or even Web sites.

Spam: Then in blogging we have the over and over again beginning from the old time "Mark your calendars for next year, bla bla bla." The instigators are well aware of what they are doing. But so are the reader/dancers and nothing turns them off like spam. And of course the bloggers resent people using their blog in this fashion and running it down like that.

Let's get Bloggin', we are going to get to Social Media yet and we are going to have a ball doing it and sharing among so many good people.
