Dance Hawaii at Puuhale School

Awfully nice day in Nanakuli as per usual. Making rearrangements in my furniture and I will have a good arrangement one of these days. And I was ready to get the 4:00 O'clock C bus. A little crowded but a young man was gracious enough to let me have a seat. Some of the kids, Auwe. It is not that they do not read the signs, It's that they can't read, the dumb dodos.

"Happiness can come through doors you didn't even know you left open."

The bus was a little late and I tested my vid clip songs on my new MP4 unit and worked beautifully. Got to Puuhale and walked up to Puuhale School, took almost five minutes. Not bad. Only Maurice was there and a few people arrived a little later.

Tried to get a photo of the early birds but they were all too busy. Some other time, though later I did get some photos of the dancing and others to make collages.

Left side, front facing the other school buildings. Right side, from the back playing field.

Got rid of four CD's and hopefully they will be used as intended. Then I demonstrated my new vid clip songs and finally found someone who may be able to use it. This is a test, so that I can get the vid clips to the members that can use them. Can only be used on a computer and preferably with good speakers or earphones.

Tested two cameras, this one has to go to somebody else, but the dancers
were beginning to arrive and they were beginning to have fun dancing.

Maybe we can get more people from town attending next time. House parties are nice but I think we should make every effort to make this a more public social affair. Oblivion is not very attractive and the entire enchilada is in process.

I left after the intermission when they had the ring of prayer, then the line dancing
and the Kau Kau and everyone seemed to be having themselves a ball.

Last minute quote from Maurice.

"Come Dance With Us" at our new Social Dance at Puuhale School Cafeteria. Lots of food, dancing and meeting new people who love to dance.
Maurice Morita, President
Dance Hawaii.
