New Place, to Dance Hawaii

The schools need the money to pay for the rail fiasco, so we cannot blame them. But like the Rail Tragedy People advise us, "dance in the streets." Fortunately Maurice found another place.

"Falsehood is cowardice, the truth is courage."

Is it possible that in West Oahu they dance different than in downtown? Yes, positively. One of the main characteristics is attitude. Let’s face it, the town people really think they are fantastic dancers. And the truth is that many are. Now at Puuhale School, we can get some good Kalihi dancers to join us. Hey, Hey, we are moving ahead.

However in the West they seem to be developing some people that really understand about dancing to the music and not just to steps and movements that they have been taught. The real Universal dancers are being taught by a different type of teachers. And many dancers in town, not only in night clubs but also on the main dance floors are changing. People are just beginning to notice. I think they are all getting good.
