April almost here

For all of us even remotely involved, we continue to learn, not just dancing but life, in and all around us. In our blogging we are slowly learning the difference in communication between "To whom it may concern" and our type of Social Media. The old type "One Way" has been used for decades, - Newsletters, newspaper and magazine advertising. Some have even resorted to Radio and TV advertising.

Social dancers do wonder, "what would life be without a little Cha Cha Cha?"

Web Sites came in at the end of the last century and in this century we are now in the process of testing out the Blog Sites. Since they are consistently updated they are getting more people interested but it has been slow going from the "One way communication" to Two way communication. "Feedback" The reader/dancers that are willing to share their 2 cents of valuable dance information with our fellow dancers will be a big solution.

Photos are valuable in the inverse proportion to their availability. How you figure? One nice photo of the dance gang in one of our blogs, compared to the same photo in Facebook who is due to get 350 million today? Or two people in a photo compared with one person. This is a blog. A Photo in Twitter may be seen by somebody in Nigeria, or Denmark. But for sure in our blogs they will be seen by our dance friends and relatives on Oahu. I am a slow learner but I do learn. As for me, my aim is to get rid of my best blog as soon as possible. Just keep what make me happy for now.
