Photos

Seems like the photos are becoming important in our blogs. Not necessarily of the wheels, but of the ordinary attendees of any dance function on this island. Yes, two people in the photo are better than one. Three are even better that two and of course, four are better than three. Naturally, 18 are not better than 17 and the final choice is made by the one taking the picture. I have fumbleitis so I must have help in getting the photos from anyone that can push the button on the camera.

“Social dancers know that when they dance to the rhythm of the music in their hearts,
they restore their souls and revive their spirits.”

I pass the camera around and several people have a chance to take photos of their friends for publication. Maile Yagi gets some very good pictures and she emails them to me the next day, while I am working on the blog. Then comes the inevitable collage that I have reduced to six photos each to get bigger pictures in each collage. Any one can get good candid photos just going around the dance floor and getting their friends. And on top of this if there is anyone that would like to include their favorites, just email it in and I will post it in the blog.

We have the Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club, St. Patrick Dance on Friday 15th, I will make every effort to do my part and I should have the blog ready by Saturday Evening. Quotes are always welcome, say something to your fellow dancers. These blogs are becoming Social Media. That is an important thing to consider why I "MUST" go to some functions. The ones that are less restrictive are the most fun and I have to record it. People are having fun without being so straight laced that they cannot relax.

“Social dancers get to the point when they stop expecting people
to be perfect and they can like them for who they are.”
