I can see a good group of dance people evolving in this territory of West Oahu. Anyone know about Kalealoa, or Makaha? For too long they have not been close at hand. But the Traffic Jams in downtown Honolulu can tell us something. We have two solid dance clubs in the West. From way back. Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club and Aiea Ballroom Dance Association.that are getting members that live in the West.Why not? There are, perhaps 4000 dancers available in the area right now. I am lucky that I live in the Central Valley.
The Rail Disaster has brought out the "I could've been home in 20 minutes." These people do not want to go to Town all the time. For now, they do not have much choice. We are beginning to get a lot of "advertising." But most of us are well aware that as friends, we help. Being that in blogging, we still consider it sharing "communication" from our friends to the reader/dancers and we don't charge anyone. All is well and good but not many are aware of the Public Relations that they completely overlook. The items of interest and the photos of the happy occasion after the fact, we just assume that everyone had fun.
There is definitely something in the photos and the comments with them that make for interesting reading and make it valuable as Public Relations for the Dance Club involved. I am physically incapable of doing this now, so I must count on the Two Centers or Guest Bloggers for help. Those willing to share their happy moments with the rest of the gang, friends, neighbors, relatives and fellow dancers. I am turning more to Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook for these people that we need
