Getting to the end of the first quarter of the year and my blogs are not the smash hit of the dance season, it has been slow but steady. I know that slow occurs because I am not a great name in the Oahu dance world, so that everything I write is SOS. (same old shit.) Anything that is sent is in not SOS and it read more interestingly. We cannot say anything bad about this but we must recognize that it part of what is urgently needed, to share these precious dance items with our fellow dancers.
I have a total of five blogs, each one trying to establish its identity, And I have many stats of the five blogs to keep me informed of the total picture. I just use the daily total hits figure about nine pm every evening. The hits ebb and flow. When they are down, they depress me somewhat and when they are up it is exhilarating. They are on their way up now. In the beginning the search engines were hitting from all over the world. They are now reducing down to the US and the Hawaiian islands with most in the Oahu area.
A blog is not required to put a personal aspect into it but I have tried to do so. However I had to remove the comments, They would say it is nice, Anonymous. Or they would say it was not nice, Anonymous. That did not do me or anyone any good. I still call it a blog even if it’s just a text file published on the internet, as long as it is updated and the content in chronological order. And it not required to be updated regularly. I still call it a blog, a dead blog maybe, but still a blog."
